Since the beginning of his recording career in Manchester - Tom has accumulated a wealth of experience in top flight recording studios working alongside a number of prestigious producers such as Stephen Street, who he has worked with for a number of years now and continues to do so when not producing for himself. He has also worked alongside producer du jour Erol Alkan on The Mystery Jets first album and many other highly regarded production talents such as Narada Michael Walden. During his career Tom has worked with a variety of different artistes including Jeff Beck, The Cure and New Order.

More recently Tom has been increasingly found in the producer role. Having produced the critically acclaimed debut album for Vincent Vincent And The Villains for EMI, he went on to produce and mix the first White Lies single "Unfinished Business" and he's just finished producing and mixing a track for Jamie T's second album due out later this year.

Alongside this, he has found time to engineer the Stephen Street-produced debut solo album for Pete Doherty just out on Parlophone; and to engineer the Magistrates debut album coming out on XL which he finished at the end of last year; and he is currently to be found co-producing the debut album for hotly-tipped singer/songwriter Tinashe - priority artist on Island Records.
